Administration of Ladakh extended the validity of various documents such as driving licence, registration certificate, vehicle fitness, vehicle permit etc. and also exempted the late fees on renewal of these documents until 30 June 2021.
 
The Administration has also waived off late fee for the renewal of regular permits for vehicles which could not renew their permits between 31 Oct 2019 to 1 Feb 2020 due to technical issues.
In addition, fees for temporary permits for the transporters of Ladakh have also been exempted for the FY 21-22 March. 
 
Tsering Paldan, the Regional Transport Officer, Ladakh informed that the decision of the administration to exempt late fee on the renewal of documents and fees and issuance of a temporary permit will benefit around 8000 beneficiaries in Ladakh.
