L-G reviews KVS recruitment online exam scam Instructs Ladakh Police to solve case at the earliest & ensure such nefarious acts not repeated in future
Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Brigadier (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd) reviewed the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) Recruitment online exam cheating scam in Leh with the Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Satish Khandare, and Senior Superintendent of Police PD Nitya on March 1 at Raj Niwas.
L-G inquired about the police teams deployed to arrest the people involved in the scam and also the periodic updates provided to the team.
ADGP Ladakh Police informed about the raids conducted by the Police team at various places in Bahadurgarh and Rohtak in Haryana. He informed that the two of the accused were operating a computer coaching centre in Leh and the remaining accused were providing IT support.
LG Mishra called the incident worrying and inquired about the precautionary steps that can be taken for deterring criminals from repeating such acts in the future without causing any false alarms among the public. He instructed that such incidents should not happen in the future and instructed Ladakh Police to solve the case at the earliest and ensure that IT/coaching centers from Ladakh do not indulge in such nefarious acts in the future.
ADGP Ladakh Police informed about various verification drives being conducted to ascertain the identity of the people operating such centers. He also assured to solve the case at the earliest.
