L-G interacts with students from Govt School Shara 20 students from Govt High School Shara will visit France for culture exchange programme
Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Brigadier (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd) met and interacted with all the 20 students of Government High School, Shara who are going to France in April on a 40-day cultural exchange programme.
LG advised the students to maintain discipline and perform their programmes properly during their visit to France. He also emphasised the need to evoke a sense of patriotism, saying Jai Hind and singing the National Anthem wherever they get the opportunity during their tour to France. He also blessed them and wished for a fruitful visit to France.
Deputy Chairman, LAHDC Leh, Tsering Angchuk requested LG’s intervention in the early process of the visas for the students for their visit to France.
LG assured of taking measures to help in the early processing of the students' visas from Shara.
Deputy Chairman, LAHDC Leh, Tsering Angchuk; Councillor, Igoo, Sonam Thardos; Secretary, Ravinder Kumar; President, Ladakh Buddhist Association, Thupstan Chhewang and ace filmmaker Stanzin Dorjey Gya were present in the meeting.
