In view to make Kargil polythene free district, District Magistrate Kargil banned the use of plastic materials and polythene on January 30 in Kargil.

 

The administration constituted District, Sub Divisional and Tehsil level committees of officers who will take appropriate action against the defaulters as per law. The committees have been directed to submit action taken reports on fortnightly basis.

 

As such all the concerned polythene sellers and users have been informed to comply with the Government orders strictly and cooperate with the administration to  make  the district one of the polythene and plastic free districts of the country.
