Team Stringmo led by its President Kaneez, called on Imteeaz Kacho, Joint Director, Information/ Administrator, Municipal Committee Kargil to discuss the upcoming "Waste to Art" workshop as a segment of the nationwide Swachhata Hi Seva campaign in the run-up to Gandhi Jayanti on September 11. 

The workshop is aimed at raising awareness about waste management by transforming waste into creative art and fostering environmental consciousness among the public. While discussing the scope of participation of groups like Stringmo in the workshop, which will also see a display/ exhibition of junk art, Kacho highlighted the other events lined up daily starting from September 14. 

He invited the Stringmo group, mentored by Sajjad Hussain (Bob), to participate in the day-long event and lead by example. He appreciated the efforts of the group towards raising awareness and consciousness about various crucial issues.     Team Stringmo exuded confidence about the success of the entire campaign and said it looks forward to contributing to Kargil's vision of a cleaner and greener environment.
