Justice Tashi Rabstan visits old age home at Mahabodhi Centre
Justice Tashi Rabstan, the senior-most judge of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, Administrative Judge for District Leh, Chairman of the Mediation and Conciliation Committee of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, and Chairman of the Building Infrastructure Committee for Subordinate Courts of UT Ladakh, visited the Old Age Home at Mahabodhi Leh on the last day of his three-day visit to District Leh.
The visit included an interactive session with the senior citizens organised by the District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Leh on May 15.
During the occasion, Justice Tashi Rabstan received a warm welcome from the founder of Mahabodhi International Meditation Centre (MIMC), Ven Sanga Sena, and other monks and officials of the centre.
Also present were Member Secretary of LLSA and Principal District and Sessions Judge Leh, Spalzes Angmo; Secretary of DLSA Leh and Special Mobile Magistrate Leh, Phuntsog Angmo; Munsiff of Nubra, Chemit Yurgyal; Deputy Chief Legal Aid Defense Counsel, Nima Stanzin; Panel Lawyers; and PLVs.
During the interaction, the senior citizens expressed their happiness about Justice Tashi Rabstan's visit and appreciated Ven Sanga Sena and the entire staff of MIMC.
In his remarks, Justice Tashi Rabstan mentioned that he was one of the founding members of MIMC and had always wanted to visit the Old Age Home. He expressed his happiness over the visit.
Ven Sanga Sena, in his address, spoke about the various activities and projects underway at MIMC and expressed his gratitude to Justice Rabstan for his kind visit.
Member Secretary of LLSA and Principal District and Sessions Judge, Leh, Spalzes Angmo, also shared her views during the programme.
