ITBP’s North West Frontier HQ celebrates 18th Foundation Day
The North West Frontier Headquarters of the Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) celebrated its 18th Foundation Day with a grand ceremonial parade on April 6.
IPS, IG North West Frontier, Clay Khongsai presided over the function and oversaw the ceremonial parade.
During the ceremony, 38 retired personnel belonging to Ladakh were honoured for their dedication and commitment to their force.
IPS, IG North West Frontier, Clay Khongsai, honoured the battalions under the Frontier as a mark of recognition for their tremendous work. The 15th Battalion was honoured as the best border battalion, the 51 Bn as the best non-border battalion, and the 28 Bn as the best clean battalion.
PMG (P&A), DIG North West Frontier, Ashok Kumar Negi, along with senior officers, subordinate officers, and Himveers were present on the occasion.
