Indian Army organises leadership programme for Veer Naris & dependants of veterans
15 ladies, dependents of veterans of Ladakh including Veer Nari were trained under the Leadership development programme at the National Cooperative Union of India, New Delhi from June 20 to 22.
Facilitated by the Leh Sub Area under the aegis of Fire and Fury Corps, the training was organised in collaboration with Looms of Ladakh, a women’s cooperative. The training aimed to develop leadership skills amongst the ladies for operating and managing a successful cooperative enterprise. The initiative will empower them towards self-employment and becoming successful entrepreneurs in the future.
On June 26, General Officer Commanding Leh Sub Area felicitated the women who completed their training.
The participants expressed heartfelt gratitude for the support rendered by the Indian Army in their empowerment and development.
