ICAR-Central Arid Zone Research Institute distributes animal feed in Shang village
ICAR-Central Arid Zone Research Institute, Regional Research Station Leh Union Territory of Ladakh conducted a one-day interaction meeting with farmers of Shang village and distributed Animal Feed to the farmers under Tribal Sub Plan.
Dr. R.K. Goyal, Head (I/C) ICAR-CAZRI, RRS Leh Stakna; Dr. M.K. Gaur (Principal Scientist); Er. Changchuk Lamo (Scientist); Jigmat Stanzin (ACTO); Stanzin Landol (STA); Yogendra Singh (T-3) and Sr. Technician Rigzin Dorjey and Mohd Raza participated in the program. About 40 farmers’ including Tsewang Norboo Panch and members of Shang village attended the program.
Er. Changchuk Lamo gave a brief introduction about the program and institute activities.
Dr. Goyal discussed the importance of fodder production and quality feed to livestock. He said that quality livestock products can be used for generating income to improve livelihood.
Tsewang Norboo, Panch expressed his gratitude towards RRS-Leh of CAZRI for their interventions under TSP in Shang village. Finally, the cattle feeds were distributed among 40 households of the village by the Head CAZRI, RRS Leh, and the team.
