HelpAge India celebrates World Health Day
HelpAge India, Ladakh Heart Foundation, in collaboration with Druk Padma Karpo School, celebrated World Health Day 2024 aimed at promoting health awareness and education in the Leh region on April 7.
Dr. Nordan Otzer delivered a speech on the significance of adopting a healthy lifestyle. Dr Otzer emphasised the importance of nutrition and encouraged students to prioritise wholesome foods over junk food to maintain a healthy body and mind.
Vice Principal, Druk Padma Karpo School expressed gratitude to all participant organisations for their contributions in making the event successful. He commended the efforts of the Ladakh Heart Foundation and Helpage India in advancing the health landscape of Ladakh and stressed the importance of continued collaboration in promoting health education and awareness initiatives. Representatives from HelpAge India, Ladakh Heart Foundation, and Druk Padma Karpo School were present at the workshop, along with staff and students.
