To review the achievement, future plans and strategies of Subordinate Services Recruitment Board (SSRB), a meeting was convened by Gyal P. Wangyal, Deputy Chairman LAHDC, Leh on December 12.

Tsering Paldan, Secretary, LAHDC, SSRB updated Gyal P. Wangyal about the ongoing recruitment drive in various departments.  He also talked about the plans of the department which includes organising mega employment fair in coming months for unemployed youths of Leh, loan providing agencies, revenue officials and loan sanctioning authorities.

Discussion about the draft capex budget 2019-20 and ideas to improve the functioning and efficiency of the department was carried out.

Gyal P Wangyal emphasized on conducting awareness programme for unemployed youths and career counselling for students at the block level. He assured every possible intervention and supports from LAHDC, Leh to strengthen LAHDC-SSRB.
