Forest Division field staff on mass casual leave

The field staff of Forest Division, Leh under the banner of Non-Gazetted Forest Officers Association observed two-day mass casual leave on September 11 and 12.
It was observed to press the long-pending demand for revival of pay anomaly, grant of grant of two- and- a- half days extra salary and risk allowance and regularization of consolidated Malis. The staff member protest shouting slogans in support of their demands.
Tsering Tundup, President NGFOA, Leh Forest Division said, “We are on two days mass casual leave. If our demands are not redressed at the earliest we are going to continue with the protest”.
He further said, “The authorities at the helm affairs are deliberately delaying our service matters and the promotional avenues of field staff of forest department. The higher authorities are provoking the employees to choose the path of agitation repeatedly.”
Later, they submitted a memorandum to Deputy Commissioner, Leh and the Divisional Forest Officer, Leh for its further submission to the Office of Principal Chief Conservator of Forest and higher concerned authority for redressal their genuine demands without further delay.
