Fire and Fury Corps celebrates 76th Republic day with patriotic fervor
The 76th Republic Day was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm by all ranks of the Fire and Fury Corps on January 26.
The celebration began with a wreath-laying ceremony at the iconic Hall of Fame War Memorial, Leh, to honor the bravehearts who made the ultimate sacrifice in defending the nation’s borders. The solemn tribute was led by Brig (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd), Lieutenant Governor of the Union Territory of Ladakh, along with Lieutenant General Hitesh Bhalla, SC**, SM, VSM, General Officer Commanding, Fire and Fury Corps; Major General Dinesh Kumar Singh, SM, Chief of Staff, Fire and Fury Corps; and Major General Ravinder Kumar, SM, General Officer Commanding, Leh Sub Area.
Addressing the gathering, Brig (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd) commended the Indian Army for its unwavering dedication and indomitable spirit while serving in the challenging and arduous conditions of the Ladakh region. He lauded the army’s invaluable contribution in maintaining the sanctity of the nation's borders with courage and resilience.
The celebration reflected the pride and gratitude of the nation toward its armed forces, emphasizing their critical role in safeguarding the sovereignty of India.
