Felicitation cum career counselling program held at Govt Higher Secondary Lankerchey
Govt Higher Secondary Lankerchey holds a felicitation cum career counseling and guidance program for passed-out students of class 10th and 12th at Higher Secondary School Conference Hall on July 22.
Councillor Lankerchey Ghulam Hyder said that the felicitation ceremony is not only a celebration of individual achievements but also a testament to the collective efforts of teachers, mentors, and parents who played a pivotal role in shaping the academic journeys of these pass-out students.
He applauded the dedication, perseverance, and tireless efforts of students that culminated in remarkable results.
Assistant Professor Nasir ud din Khafi explained to the students how they should select subjects about National Education Policy with 12th passed-out students. He also thronged light on the changed course from 3 years to 4year graduation course and the crux of NEP. Effective development of students' confidence and critical thinking, content and curiosity, communication and commitment, competencies and character, etc.
They were also apprised about the objectives of NEP 2020 to develop students with creative thinking skills, emotional development, conflict resolution skills, healthy social skills, manners, hands-on lessons, etc. along with core academics to enable them to gain holistic knowledge.
Certificates of appreciation were also distributed amongst the passed-out students of 10th for their remarkable performance in the recently declared JKBOSE Examination 2023.
