EC Tashi visits Zangla village, engages with residents on local issues

Executive Councillor Tourism Development Authority Zanskar, FCS&CA/RDD, Er. Phunchok Tashi, along with Councillor Padum Constituency and Incharge SDM Zanskar, Mohd Hassan, visited Zangla village on March 9 to assess local issues and interact with residents.
During the visit, EC Tashi and Incharge SDM engaged with villagers, listening to their grievances and assuring necessary interventions. The visit aimed to strengthen administrative outreach and promote grassroots participation in governance.
As part of efforts to enhance community infrastructure, the officials distributed traditionally designed Ladakhi tables to community halls in Pishu, Pidmo, Hanamur, Zangla, and Chazar under the CDF Fund of Councillor Padum Constituency. This initiative reflects the administration’s commitment to preserving Ladakhi cultural heritage while improving public utility spaces.
The villagers expressed gratitude for the visit and the developmental support provided. EC Tashi assured that the concerns raised during the interaction would be addressed on time.
