The Department of Information  and  Public Relations (DIPR)  Leh organised an awareness programme on drugs and other substance abuse at the Paras Hall of Government Boys Higher Secondary School Leh on March 16.

Consultant Psychiatrist at SNM Hospital Leh, Dr. Padma Angmo spoke widely about the current scenario and provided clinical suggestions for mental health and well-being. Principal of Government Boys Higher Secondary School Leh, Tsering Norboo and AE&CO of DIPR Leh, Stanzin Wangmo also shared their concerns over the serious issue affecting the younger generation in particular.  

Supported by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and District Administration Leh, this awareness campaign is scheduled to be held in various schools in and around Leh city and the villages of the Leh district.
