Deputy Commissioner Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve, reviewed departmental promotions and compassionate appointments under SRO-43 during a meeting held on September 12 at the VC Room, DC Office, Leh.

During the meeting, DC Leh approved a total of 97 time-bound promotions and 3 functional promotions across various departments. The promotions included 52 cases in the Medical Department, 25 in the Education Department, 10 in ICDS, and 4 in the Sheep Husbandry Department, among others. Additionally, 6 cases of compassionate appointments were referred for further review with the applicants.

The Deputy Commissioner directed all Heads of Departments (HoDs) to ensure timely submission of promotion cases to avoid delays.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Director Employment Leh, Delex Namgyal, Headquarter Assistant Nilza Angmo, and heads of various departments.
