DC Kargil inspects winter tuition arrangements in government schools
DC, Kargil Shrikant Balasaheb Suse inspected several government school winter tuition centers catering to classes 10 and 12 in Kargil town on December 23.
Accompanied by Chief Education Officer Mushtaq Ahmad, Accounts Officer Shamim Ahmad Wazir, and respective heads of institutions, DC assessed the facilities provided. This included scrutinizing heating systems, availability of drinking water, adequacy of teaching staff, progress in syllabus coverage, completion status, scheduling of subject-specific practice tests, and other essentials. Additionally, he gathered detailed feedback from students at Govt. Middle School Chanchik, Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School Kargil, Govt. Boys Hr Secondary School Baroo, and Govt. High School Baroo.
Students highlighted their need for smart boards to enhance their preparation, especially considering their first-time preparation for CBSE examinations. They also stressed the necessity for intensified revisions in certain subjects.
Assuring the students that their concerns would be given due attention, DC directed the Chief Education Officer Kargil to initiate necessary measures to fulfill these requirements.
Emphasising the importance of hard work and dedication in their studies, the DC encouraged the students and urged them to aim to achieve 100 percent results in the upcoming examinations.
