The District SVEEP Team, Leh, organised a bike rally to raise voter awareness and participation on April 4. The rally commenced at Eco Park, Leh, and covered many locations near Leh which included Housing Colony, Choglamsar, Agling, Skara, Changspa and concluded at the DC office Leh.

The objective of the rally was to engage with citizens directly, disseminate information about the importance of voting and encourage voter registration among eligible individuals. The tagline of the campaign was, ‘Your vote, your choice, your duty’.

The bike rally was flagged off by the Chief Electoral Officer, UT Ladakh, Yetindra M. Maralkar, District Election Officer, Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve along with Joint Chief Electoral Officer, UT Ladakh, Sonam Chosjor, State Nodal Officer, MCC, Sonam Nurboo, Deputy Secretary, Election Department, UT Ladakh, Swarm Singh, Deputy District Election Officer, Leh, A. G. Zargar, SMLT-IT application & SNO-SVEEP, UT Ladakh, Dr. Tsewang Morup, District Nodal Officer, SVEEP, Tajamul Ara and other District Nodal Officers. 

State SVEEP Icon, Phunsok Ladakhi was also present at the commencement of the rally.
