CEC reviews construction progress of 30-bedded hospital at Tangtse
Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv Tashi Gyalson visited Tangtse block on July 1 and checked the progress of the ongoing construction of the 30-bedded Tangtse Hospital accompanied by concerned officers/officials.
Enroute to Tangtse, CEC Gyalson took stock of other developmental works such as Black-topping and tiling work at Changla pass, and also interacted with the BRO officials. Highlighting the hard work of the BRO and its officials, CEC Gyalson lauded the extraordinary service they render to the nation in the extreme and challenging terrain of Ladakh. He also appreciated their services to the locals and tourists at Changla Top in terms of rescue and other humanitarian services.
Overseeing the under-construction hospital work at Tangtse, CEC Gyalson noticed some flaws in the construction and directed Block Medical Officer to discuss the matter with CPWD and report within a week to his office. He also directed to form an inspection committee to ensure that the flaws have no adverse impact on the building in later stages.
