Chairman/CEC, LAHDC, Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon on his visit to Srinagar met MD/CEO, J&K Bank, Baldev Prakash on November 9 and held a detailed meeting on various issues about the operation of the bank in Kargil.

During the meeting, detailed deliberation and discussions were held on various issues.

CEC asserted that from many years the presence of Kargil in the job positions of the bank has been reduced and for that possible training programs for the banking exams need to be conducted by the bank for the aspirants of Kargil.

He also expected that the Bank would continue its participation in the socio-economic development of Kargil by generously providing CSR funds.

Dr Jaffer also shared that installation of ATMs should be ensured at the required localities for the ease of masses, besides provision for a mobile bank vehicle must be explored to ease banking facilities in rural areas.

Concerned officers and various heads of J&K Bank were also present during the meeting.
