CEC Kargil honors AIIMS, Safdarjung doctors for successful medical camp
In collaboration with Ashoka Mission and District Administration Kargil, a five-day free medical camp concluded successfully. On July 11, Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon honored doctors from AIIMS and Safdarjung Hospital Delhi for their contributions.
CEC Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon extended gratitude to the doctors, General Secretary of Ashoka Mission, and District Administration Kargil for organizing the medical camp. He commended the prestigious institutions for providing healthcare services to the people of Kargil, emphasizing future collaborations to serve marginalized sections.
Dr. Akhoon highlighted the ongoing construction of Kargil House Building in Dwarka Delhi, aimed at benefiting patients who frequently travel to Delhi for medical check-ups. He underscored plans for specialized training of Kargil doctors at AIIMS to address local healthcare needs.
General Secretary of Ashoka Mission, Tashi Motup, acknowledged CEC Kargil for honoring the doctors and providing commendable facilities during their stay. He mentioned that approximately 50 patients have been referred to AIIMS Delhi for further treatment, ensuring continued care and guidance in the capital.
Doctors from AIIMS and Safdarjung Delhi expressed appreciation for the hospitality and facilities provided by LAHDC Kargil and District Administration during their tenure.
