CEC Kargil chairs meeting to implement Reinforced Teacher Training program in Kargil district

 Chairman and Chief Executive Councilor (CEC) of LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, chaired a meeting with the Program Director of the Golden Mile Mentorship Program on September 24 to discuss the implementation of the Reinforced Teacher Training (RTT) program in Kargil district.

Executive Councilors Zakir Hussain and Er attended the meeting. Punchok Tashi, Deputy Commissioner and CEO of LAHDC Kargil, Srikant Balasaheb Suse, Chief Education Officer of Kargil, Principal of DIET, Program Director Dr. Neepa Oza, and other concerned officials.

Dr. Oza provided an overview of the program, highlighting its primary objectives, which include capacity building for teachers, fostering familiarity with NCERT books, improving teaching methodologies, enhancing skills for teaching English as a second language, boosting confidence in using and teaching English, and developing key training techniques to support educators.

CEC Dr. Akhoon expressed appreciation for the vision behind the Golden Mile Mentorship Program, noting that such initiatives will be crucial in helping teachers enhance their skills and deliver quality education to students. He assured that both LAHDC Kargil and the District Administration will extend full support for successfully implementing the training program across various zones in the district.
