CEC inspects JKSOS Study Centre and free tuition centres in Leh
Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, CEC inspected JK State Open School (SOS) Study Centre, SST teacher training and CM super 50 coaching centers on January 23.
Konchok Angmo, Principal DIET/ CEO, Leh informed that about 155 school dropout/in-service candidates were enrolled for the year 2019-20 and are getting one month contact classes from January 6.
Briefing about ongoing SST teachers training at DIET, Leh, she said that 20 teachers are participating.
Around 90 students are enrolled in the ongoing CM super 50 coaching at DIET Hostel. More than 100 students are taking free tuition near Druk Auto zone and 300 at Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School Leh.
While inspecting classrooms at all the coaching centers, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal interacted with the students and teachers and enquired about facilities being provided to them.
Expressing satisfaction over the smooth functioning of training centers, he highly appreciated all the faculty staff engaged at all the centers who are doing their best under the guidance and supervision of J.D Education Ladakh and Chief Education Officer Leh.
While interacting with school dropout/in-service candidates, he directed CEO to conduct such classes at sub-divisional and block levels in coming years so that more candidates could be covered under the JKSOS programme.
He requested all the students and faculty members to give their feedbacks in written in a week time so that problems could be addressed to make upcoming training and tuition programme more inclusive and fruitful.
