Chairman and Chief Executive Councilor, LAHDC, Kargil Feroz Ahmad Khan laid the foundation stone of the additional block of Kargil House at Bemina Srinagar on July 5.

The additional block is being constructed under SDP at Rs 7.87 crores and has been targeted for completion within one year.

EC, Social Welfare, Aga Syed Hassan Arman Mosavi; EC, Works, Aga Syed Abbas Razvi, officers and engineers of PWD department besides other concerned officials were present on the occasion.

CEC, Feroz Ahmad Khan directed the concerned officers to complete the construction of the building within the stipulated timeline to serve the requirements of visitors coming across from Kargil to Srinagar. He also stressed the engineers concerned to ensure strict adherence to quality and quantity parameters during the execution of the project.

The building can accommodate 60 guests and is formed on the architectural pattern of G+3 floors with a kitchen, community hall, and 16 bedrooms with double bedrooms and attached bathrooms, 3 VIP suites and 1 conference hall.

It was informed that the piling work of the building has already been completed while the rest of the work will also be completed within the set timelines.
