A total of 1594 patients were checked during the free medical camp conducted by super specialists and specialist doctors from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Zanskar.

The medical camp was organised by Ashoka Mission, New Delhi in collaboration with the super-specialist and specialist doctors from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS)

Out of the total patient screened, 75 patients were diagnosed with Surgical Oncology. 133 patients were treated in Neuro Surgery, 550 patients treated for Medicine, 122 patients in Gynecology, 58 for Endocrinology, 136 Pediatric, and around 520 were treated in Orthopedic related diseases. 

Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Zanskar expressed gratitude to doctors from AIIMS and the General Secretary Ashoka Mission for conducting the free medical camp at Zanskar. He urged the concerned to conduct such camps in the future to provide necessary medical facilities for the patients of the Zanskar Sub Division.
