386 candidates compete for 111 lecturer posts in Kargil examination

The 10+2 contractual lecturers' examination was successfully conducted on March 9 across multiple centers in Kargil district. Examination centers were set up at Govt. Degree College, Kargil; Boys Hostel Channi, Jammu; and Higher Secondary School, Padum, Zanskar.

The examination witnessed a significant turnout, with 386 candidates appearing for 111 vacancies out of a total of 492 registered candidates. Among them, 304 candidates appeared at Govt. Degree College Kargil, 78 at Boys Hostel Channi Jammu, and 4 at Higher Secondary School, Padum, Zanskar.

The examination was overseen by Chief Education Officer (CEO) Kargil, S.D. Namgial; Deputy Director Employment, Khanzada Muhammad Usman; Superintendent Examination, Abid Hussain; Principal ITI Kargil; Deputy Superintendent Examination; and other officials from the Education Department, Kargil.

CEO Kargil, S.D. Namgial, emphasized the department's commitment to enhancing education standards in the region. He assured that quality education remains a top priority and must not be compromised under any circumstances.

To facilitate candidates, the district administration established three examination centers across Kargil, Jammu, and Zanskar, a move widely appreciated by aspirants. Many candidates expressed satisfaction with the arrangements made for their convenience.

The examination concluded smoothly with all necessary measures in place to ensure a fair and transparent process. CEO Kargil, S.D. Namgial, expressed his gratitude to all stakeholders for the successful conduct of the examination and reiterated the district's focus on expanding educational opportunities for its youth.
