A district-level task force meeting to clear the financial assistance cases of Khadi Village and Industries Board (KVIB) under the Prime Minister Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) was convened by Avny Lavasa, DC also the Chairman, District Level Task Force was held on June 2 in Leh.

A total of 32 PMEGP loan cases were placed before the DLTFC for consideration out of which 29 cases have been approved. The approved cases will generate employment opportunity to local unemployed youths of the district.

Tsering Dolma, Convener DLTFC/ General Manager, DIC, Abdul Rashid, Bank Manager, SBI Leh Abdul Rashid, Tsewang Dorjey, Zonal Head, J&K Bank Leh G.M.Mir, District Officer, KVIB, Stanzin Pasang, Manager SC/ST, Tajammul Aara, District Youth Coordinator NYK and Abid Hussain, Superintendent,ITI Leh were present.
