Advisor Dr. Pawan Kotwal, accompanied by Secretary of Law & Justice Shashi Kant Bhagat, distributed certificates to 17 advocates appointed as Notary Public for the Union Territory of Ladakh under the Notaries Act, 1952.

This event marked the certification of Ladakh’s first batch of Notary Public since the region became a Union Territory. The ceremony took place at the Civil Secretariat in Leh on October 7.

During the event, Advisor Ladakh commended the contributions of the newly appointed Notaries and extended his best wishes for their future endeavors.
