The 13th Battalion of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Ludhiana, Punjab, in collaboration with the District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) Kargil, conducted a comprehensive mock exercise on earthquake and cloudburst scenarios at Higher Secondary School, Chiktan, on September 11.

The exercise involved students from various schools in the tehsil, volunteers, Apada Mitras, and a large number of community members. In addition to the drill, an Aadhaar camp was set up to offer essential Aadhaar-related services to the public.

Dr. Sanjat Bhardwaj, Sub-Divisional Magistrate of Shakar Chiktan, and Naib Tehsildar Shakar Chiktan were present at the event. Dr. Bhardwaj reviewed the exercise and expressed his appreciation, thanking all participants for their efforts after the event.
