A training on the liquid waste management for PHE engineers was conducted on November 9 at DC Conference hall, Leh. It was to prepare them for the management of the upcoming sewage treatment plant (STP).

The training was conducted by Ladakh Ecological Development Group under the chairmanship of Chief Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Leh.

The expertise Dr. Sharad Chandan, Ex. Chairman of pollution control board, George Verghese and Dr.Nagraj, DHO, Mysore City Corporation shared the experience and presented a presentation on the waste collection, transportation, processing and the strategies to recycle and allocate the waste.
