Prasanna Ramaswamy G, an officer of the Indian Administration Service took over as the 47th Deputy Commissioner of District Leh on 1st September.

 

He took over the charge from outgoing Deputy Commissioner Saugat Biswas, who has been transferred as DC Kishtwar, Jammu district after serving for 7 months term in Leh district.

 

Mr. Prasanna is a 2010 pass out of IAS batch and before joining as DC Leh, he has served as DC Kargil, ADC Kathua and SDM Gundaho, Doda district.
