The speakers on the occasion were Dr Ghulam Mohammad and Stanzin Deachen Counsellor of SNM Hospital.

  

Dr Ghulam spoke about AIDS, how it spreads and its symptoms. While, Deachen Counsellor spoke to the students the statistical count of the AIDS patients in the state specifically in Leh and their medical status.  She also spoke about the importance of being aware of adolescence health. She added that we need more and more people and organisation in Leh to help the patients financially.

 

The ICTC counsellor, Stanzin Dolma appealed the students, public and the NGOs to donate annually on 1st December for AIDS fund. The event ended with an interaction session between the guest speakers and the students.
