An awareness drive under the banner, 'Role of youth in disaster preparedness and management' was organised by the SDRF Leh on November 24 at Delhi Public School, Leh.

Around 200 students enthusiastically participated.

 

The aim was to sensitize the youth about their role and responsibility in safeguarding the precious human life and properties during the catastrophic situation.

 

Besides talking on various deterrent measures of life and property saving, experts of SDRF also exhibited demonstration on different aspects of rescue and relief operations during the crisis.
