Studio Art Works and Mantra Travel lounge will be initiating a Community Art Week from 9th to 15th August at Shey. The event will kick start from 9AM to 7.30PM. It is initiated to build an opportunity to reconnect with traditional recreational activities and engage with children as well as elders of the community so as to bridge the gap and value the social interaction as a concept in the time of all things digital. Board game workshops will be conducted in two schools of Shey village with different age groups. The games would be skill based, which helps in developing analytical thinking, eye-hand co-ordination, enhances memory retention, develops mathematical skills, and encourages teamwork and lot more. Trashes will be collected and upcycle to make some games zones in the neighbourhood. This August “Head-Heart-Hands” come together to make a difference. Open invitation to the participants.
