A cabin crew recruitment drive was conducted by Jet Airways on 9 July at Grand Dragon Hotel, Leh. A total of 309 candidates appeared for the interview out of which 10 were selected.

Deputy Commissioner Leh Prasanna Ramaswamy G welcomed the idea of this recruitment drive and assisted them for the wide publicity in order to reach out to the aspiring candidates of far-flung areas of the region.

 

Expressing gratitude for the district administration’s assistance, the interviewing group of Karma S. Whiting General Manager- Cabin Crew Operations - Mumbai, Vikas Tyagi, Manager human resources, Delhi, and Pritam Palamwal , Manager cabin crew-in flight,  Delhi praised the Station Manager, Jet Airways- Leh, Nazir Ahmed for the initial idea of conducting this drive in the first place and for making all crucial contacts with district administration and others. 

 

The interviewing board assured to conduct the recruitment drive every year.
