Chairman and Chief Executive Councilor (CEC), LAHDC Kargil, Feroz Ahmed Khan virtually launched the ‘Ladakh Heritage Mobile App’ on February 14 for the listing of Heritage/Historical sites of Ladakh.

CEC appreciated the efforts of the concerned departments and urged the officials to exercise on the listing of important heritage sites at the grass-root level across Ladakh.
The DIO NIC Kargil gave a brief presentation and demonstration on the operational features of the Mobile App and how it can be used for listing historical sites.

The listing of heritage sites of Ladakh is an initiative of the Department of Tourism and Culture in coordination with the Department of Rural Development Ladakh with technical support of NIC Ladakh to identify and preserve the heritage sites of the UT.
