Urbis team won the Sham Cup cricket tournament

The Sham Cup cricket tournament was held from 9th May to 21st May that laid a historical milestone in the field of cricket this year at Khalatsi Block. Twelve teams from different villages of Khalatsi block participated in it and out of which Urbis team, Ursi Cricket team, Nurla team and Moravian Academy made it to the semi finals.
Urbis team won gloriously and reached in the finals whereas Nurla team defeated Moravian Academy by 54 runs and reached in the finals. In the final match Urbis team defeated Nurla team by 21 runs.
Barkat Ali Lone SDM Khalatsi block was the Guest of honor and distributed the awards and trophies to the players of both the teams. He further promised to take necessary steps to improve the ground maintenance and provide better facilities in future.
Deskyong Namgyail (Nurla) was declared the highest wicket taker, 12 wickets in 5 matches.
