Ladakh win 3 gold, 1 silver medal in National Athletics championship CEC, Hill Council, Leh felicitates athletes for their outstanding achievements
A team of athletes from the Cerebral Palsy Association of Ladakh represented UT Ladakh in the recently concluded National Athletic Championship being conducted by the Cerebral Palsy Sports Federation of India in New Delhi.
Local athletes Chimet Angmo secured a Gold medal in Shot Put and a 100-meter race, Ahsaan Ali secured Gold in Long Jump F 38 category, and Stanzin Laksphel secured a Silver medal in the 200-metre race.
Appreciating their outstanding performances at the National Championship, Chairman/CEC, LAHDC Leh, Adv. Tashi Gyalson and Dy Chairman/EC Sports, Tsering Angchuk felicitated and presented them with a token of appreciation for their accomplishments. He further assured to assist them and to provide necessary sports facilities in future.
EC Agriculture, Stanzin Chosphel; Councillor Sku-Markha, Sonam Nurboo; Councillor Lamayuru; Morup Dorjay and Councillor Kungyam, Thinles Norbu were present during the occasion.
