The 4-day inter-departmental volleyball tournament, organised by the Department of Physical Education & Sports at the Leh Campus of the University of Ladakh concluded on September 12.

A total of 16 teams, including both men's and women's divisions, hailing from different departments of the Leh campus participated in this competition.

In the men's final, the Department of Physical Education beat the Department of Zoology by 2-0 score. Similarly, in the women's division, the Department of Physical Education won over the Department of Mathematics with a score of 2-0 in the final.

Vice Chancellor, Prof. S K Mehta was the chief guest while Mukesh Kumar, representing Yuva Bharat graced the tournament as the guest of honor.

Prof. S K Mehta praised the Department of Physical Education for their impeccable organization of the tournament and encouraged the students to actively participate in co-curricular activities hosted by the university.

Dr. Jigmat Dachen, Dean of Students Welfare at the University of Ladakh supervised the entire tournament. Faculty members, non-teaching staff, and hundreds of students gathered to witness the exciting finale.
