Deputy Chairman, LAHDC Leh, Tsering Angchuk flagged off a group of young athletes to the 61st National Roller Skating Championship to be held from 11 to 22 December 2023 in Chandigarh.

The athletes are participating in the categories of Senior, Junior, and Sub-Junior respectively. They also distributed subsidized roller skating equipment to the athletes under the LAHDC Leh subsidy scheme. 

Deputy Chairman Angchuk extended his best wishes to the team and advised the young athletes to always strive to learn something new. Emphasising the potential of the sport to the younger generation of Ladakh, he urged the athletes and their parents to dedicatedly take the sport and aim to achieve higher goals in the future. He also assured continuous assistance from the Hill Council, Leh in the future. 

EC, Tashi Namgyal Yakzee; District Youth Services and Sports Officer Leh, Chief Controller of Finance LAHDC Leh, President, Ladakh Roller Skating Association, and parents were present during the flag-off ceremony.
