A zonal-level painting and drawing competition for middle school students was organized by Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Khaltse at Block Resource Center (BRC) Khaltse on June 12.

The themes for the competition included Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, World Tobacco Day, and Beti Bachao Beti Padhao.

Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Khaltse, Sonam Dolker, graced the event as the Chief Guest. She extended congratulations to both the winners and participants for their exceptional effort and creativity.

Lecturer Dechen Chorol and Lecturer Rigzin Yangdol served as judges for the competition.

The competition saw enthusiastic participation from two student representatives along with one escort teacher and Cluster Resource Persons (CRPs) from every middle school in the Khaltse zone.

Stanzin Otsal from Council Model Middle School, Alchi, secured the first position with his drawing on the theme of Beti Bachao Beti Padhao. Namkha Nurzin from Middle School, Takmachik, secured the second position with a drawing on the same theme. Jigmet Chosgial from Middle School, Skongsheet Hemis, secured the third position.
