Viksit Bharat Sankalp yatra camp held at Zangla
Ensuring saturation of flagship schemes of the government, Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra camp was organised at Panchayat halqa Zangla of Zanskar block on November 19.
Block-level officers of RD&PRD, Health, PHE, Handloom, and FCS&CA, besides other line departments, were present.
Nodal Officer/BDO Zanskar, Tsewang Rigzin briefed all the Panchayat members on various beneficiary-oriented schemes as well as enumerated about the VBSY.
A comprehensive health screening was also conducted, including online registration of eligible beneficiaries of Ayushman Bharat. A total of 12 Golden Cards were generated and subsequently distributed. Screening for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) was conducted on 21 individuals, revealing 8 cases of hypertension (HTN) and 7 cases of diabetes. Additionally, screening for Tuberculosis (TB) was performed on 20 cases.
The camp also focused on mitigating all the issues related to EKYC to avail the financial incentive of all the ongoing schemes of various departments.
Chairman BDC Zanskar Block, Tenzin Samdup along with all the officers and officials of line departments including Panchayat members enthusiastically welcomed the IEC van.
The Nodal Officer extended gratitude to the participants, acknowledging their enthusiastic engagement and cooperation, which played a pivotal role in the success of the event.
