District Election Officer/District Magistrate Kargil organised a training program on Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) for Special Summary Revision (SSR) of Photo Electoral Rolls on October 19 at the Conference hall, Baroo.

The training program was aimed to train the AEROs and BLO Supervisors. The trainers from the Election IT cell gave a detailed presentation about the SSR.

Deputy District Election Officer, Nargis Banoo stressed on participants to actively participate in the training program.

While referring to Assistant Electoral Roll Officer (AEROs) and Booth Level Officer (BLO) Supervisors, the DDEO instructed them to take their responsibilities and stressed teamwork to make the program error-free and successful.

As part of the program, the trainers shared their knowledge and experience regarding SSR with the participants and gave practical training to them.

Trainers also informed participants about the types of electoral rolls. AEROs and BLO Supervisors were fully trained in the online applications for the SSR program.
