Justice Sanjiv Khanna, Judge of the Supreme Court of India and Executive Chairperson of the National Legal Services Authority, visited the war memorial at Drass, Kargil on June 18, accompanied by Justice Tashi Rabstan, the senior-most Judge of the High Court of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh.

During the visit, Justice Sanjiv Khanna received a comprehensive briefing on the various aspects and sacrifices made by the soldiers who fought in the battle of Kargil on the icy heights of Jammu, Kashmir, and Ladakh.

Justice Sanjiv Khanna paid homage to the brave hearts of the Kargil War by laying a floral tribute at the National War Memorial and also penned a heartfelt note in the Visitors Diary in remembrance of the Kargil War martyrs.
