The military funeral was organized by the army station commander, Nimmo military station, Brigadier Manuhar Sharma along with senior military officers, family and friends. 

Late Jigmat Chosdup was one among the four soldiers who died in an avalanche at Siachen glacier that hit on 3rd January. 

 

The funeral procession was carried on with full homage and military honours.
