Deputy Chairman, LAHDC Leh, Tsering Angchuk reviewed the arrangements for the Science Festival to be held from February 22 to 28.

The Ministry of Culture & the office of the PSA, Govt of India under the aegis of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ have decided to celebrate the week as the glorious week dedicated to science and technology - Vigyan Sarvatre Pujyate (science is revered all over).

The officials present at the meeting apprised the Dy Chairman about the various arrangements for the smooth conduct of the Festival. Dy Chairman instructed the officials to ensure a proper arrangement of the festival and aim for the maximum benefit of learners during the festival.

The meeting was attended by the Director, University of Ladakh, Leh campus; CEO Leh, Principal, Eliezer Joldan Memorial College, Scientists of DIHAR Leh, SKUAST, GB Pant Institute Leh, Assistant professors of the University of Ladakh, National Institute of Sowa Rigpa, EJM College, and other concerned officials.
