A training program for youth on “Clean Village- Green Village” was organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS), Kargil under the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India on December 27.

The objective of the program was to sensitize and motivate people towards the importance of cleanliness, greenery, and the non-use of plastic material. And also to address challenges and barriers for making villages clean, green, and plastic-free.

The resource persons stressed the responsibility of youth towards building a safe and hygienic environment, clean surroundings, keeping villages litter-free, and ban on single-use plastic.

Sajjad Hussain, Tehsildar Tai-Suru block expressed gratitude to NYKS Kargil for organizing such a program in Tai Suru block and also appreciated ESSAY Tai Suru for coordinating with NYKS.
