A team from the National Institute of Sowa Rigpa, Leh headed by Dr. Padma Gurmet, Director is participating in the first-ever Global Ayush Investment and Innovation Summit themed 'Invest in Ayush for a vibrant, healthy future' which is being held at Gandhinagar (Gujarat) from April 20 to 22. 
  
The event was inaugurated by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, and Director-General, World Health Organization, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. This is for the first time that such a summit is being organised for global investment and innovation in Ayush.
 
Ayush related organizations from across the country as well as from foreign countries are participating in this summit. National Institute of Sowa Rigpa, Leh is organising an exhibition and Sowa Rigpa free medical camp. 

Dr. Padma Gurmet said that the National Institute of Sowa Rigpa, Leh has got an opportunity to participate in such an international event which is a milestone for the preservation, promotion and global investment and innovation of the Sowa Rigpa system of medicine.
