Assistant Labour Commissioner, Leh, Delex Namgyal administered a safety pledge to the unit holders of the Industrial Estate Leh at Conference Hall, Industries Department Leh on March 6.

The event was organised to raise awareness about the importance of safety in the workplace and to encourage industrial unit holders to take safety seriously.

Assistant Labour Commissioner, Leh emphasised the need for all industrial unit holders to ensure adherence to safety measures as enshrined in the Labour Codes. He highlighted the key safety provisions of the Labour Codes and urged the industrial unit holders to take the necessary steps to implement them in their workplaces.

He called upon the industrial unit holders to ensure the safety and health of their workers. The pledge emphasised the importance of providing a safe and healthy working environment, taking steps to prevent accidents, and occupational diseases, and protecting the environment in the interest of self, family, organization, community, and nation at large.

The event was attended by a large number of industrial unit holders from the Industrial Estate Leh who pledged to do their best to implement the safety measures outlined in the Labour Codes.
